Bioware General Manager Aaryn Flynn has tweeted, in response to a direct question, that Mass Effect Andromeda will not have a season pass, and that DLC details will be clarified at a later date.
The Microsoft store in Australia has also posted details of the various digital editions of the game, the standard pre-order edition includes

I think the price for season passes has got a bit crazy recently. You also find that most of the extras included in special editions are included in the passes so sometimes you were paying for some dlc twice.

So, it’s the usual special outfit, cosmetic stuff and….. oh for feck’s sake, I’m going to want that aren’t I? Well, the armour and outfits. Maybe weapons and the pyjak. Give it a few months and it’ll be on the store.
Good that they are not doing a season pass or at least, haven’t decided to do it now as it says to me that DLC is not in the works until at least they have the game ready for publishing as I hate hearing about “Get the season pass to get day one DLC!” I don’t want to fecking pay for more content on day one! Let me play the godarn game, complete it first! Not automatically make me think it’s missing content because of one DLC mission or a DLC quest.
I miss the days where DLC was actually something used to support the game after launch and usually months afterwards, not weeks or days or hours.
I should start doing rants in the forum and use an Ol’ man persona shouldn’t I? That or risk challenging MrYdd or Hazelam for title of TSA’s most grumpiest commenter. :P
