It’s time for all the casual rugby fans to start paying attention again, with the start of the Six Nations today. Naturally, we all have our national allegiances, but I’m hoping for a lot of close matches.
Or perhaps you’re gearing up to savour the wonderful excesses of the Super Bowl on Sunday night?

This Week’s Features
It was a pretty quiet week on TSA this time around, but there’s some good talking points. Dom, for example, explained why he’s decided to sell off his PSVR and put that money towards a Nintendo Switch.
Jim, on the other hand, asked if For Honor can be this year’s first big multiplayer game, returned to Resident Evil 7 for the Banned Footage DLC, while I went and played with the Sun & Moon themed decks and cards in Pokémon TCG (and won the little competition!)
As always, What We Played rounded off the weekend, featuring Overwatch, Final Fantasy XIV and Warhawk.

Your Achievements
Ron_mcphatty gets us underway having completed The Last Guardian this past week, while Youles has been a very busy bee, getting the platinum from Lara Croft Go, and playing everything from Machinarium, Overcooked, Mantis Burn Racing and plenty more besides.
Aerobes love Rise of the Tomb Raider, which he finished this week, and Andrewww has also been playing Tomb Raider, having dusted off his PS3, and said that Titanfall 2 was the best shooter he’d played in a long time.
The world was saved as Steven completed a run through of XCOM: Enemy Within, while TSBonyman thinks he’s getting close to the end of Dishonored 2 and Eldave0 has blitzed Resident Evil Remastered three times to get himself ready for Resident Evil 7, which popped through his letter box.
The Week Ahead
There’s really just the one big game release next week, that I can see, and that is:
- Nioh – PS4 – 07/02
So with that, enjoy your weekends, and we’ll see you next time!

Both of the Tomb Raider games are excellent and RotTR has a mountain of content.
I’m not sure why they aren’t regarded more highly, I personally enjoy them more than the Uncharted games. I suppose that the supporting cast is fairly forgettable and the exclusivity period for RotTR undoubtedly hurt it for some people. Uncharted also being a wholly exclusive IP matters to some.
On apples to apples comparison however, they’re close. I’d say…
Uncharted: Tomb Raider:

Story Content
Lastly, while I’ll be following the Six Nations I do live overseas now so the Super Bowl is a must and on that note, Falcons all the way.

Ok, you just convinced me to get the latest one too. ;o)
Uncharted and Tomb Raider have an awful lot in common, from collecting artefacts, platforming sections, to the combat, all in 3rd person view, some light riddles, the odd QTE (but they’re done right here), etc.
So far, Tomb Raider lacks the humour, but the story is also quite dark and that’s ok with me.

The only criticism I have of the latest one is that it doesn’t feel quite as focused and cohesive as the first.
I’d probably put it down to RotTR having a few large almost open world style areas to explore but that’s a minor quibble that even has its own benefits.
Regardless, It’s more than worth your time, enjoy!
Andrewww
But it got a VR section, which will make me switch my PSVR on once in a while… ;o)

The Ghost Recon Wildlands beta is amazing and huge. The only problem i found was with the helicopter controls, very awkward. You only get one province to play in but that’s pretty big in itself,i think there’s 7-8 in total, one big map. Also noticed that if only 2 play the 2 other AI drop out so your on your own without the other 2 as backup when it starts to get a bit enemy heavy.

Need to agree with Andrewww on that comment about Titanfall 2 being the best shooter for a while, a great combination between running gunner and precision shooting. Yes online died quickly but still a great game.
