As we get closer to the launch of Star Wars Battlefront 2 players have wanted more information on what to expect when the game becomes available. Today a short video was released by EA starring John Boyega who gives an overview of the some the maps, heroes, and modes players will be able to experience. This overview is accompanied by quite a lot of new footage as well.
There’s confirmation of all 18 locations that will be present in the game though four are limited to single player, at least at launch. Those four are Sullust, Pillios, Vardos, and Bespin. Alongside those are the fourteen multiplayer locations will eleven of them being settings for the Galactic Assault mode. Those fourteen maps include Starkiller Base, Jakku, Death Star II, Fondor, Endor, Naboo, Unknown Regions, Kamino, Kashyyyk, Yavin 4, Hoth, Ryloth, and Takodana.
The footage also gives glimpses of the heroes we’ve seen before like Darth Maul, as well as quick look at the various classes in the game including assault, heavy, officer, and specialists. Of course a lot of the main focus is the gameplay which is shown extensively above from ground assaults to the space battles. There’s also a look at some of the vehicles players will be able to command, with the roster being much larger than Star Wars Battlefront.
