Super Mario Odyssey Sold Two Million Copies In Three Days

Super Mario Odyssey has received outstanding review scores with our very own editor Tef giving the game a well-deserved 10/10 review score. Nintendo has since shed some light into its success this year with it’s six month briefing.

While about 7 million units of Nintendo Switch hardware have been delivered into the hands of our consumers around the world, we estimate that the global sellthrough of Super Mario Odyssey has already exceeded 2 million units in just its first 3 days. The holiday sales season will soon go into full swing, and we plan to make more Nintendo Switch systems available in the market.

We know that Nintendo’s latest system is well on its way to beating the Wii U’s sales figures, but add to that the two million units of the SNES Mini that were sold and it means Nintendo is having quite a good year to say the least.

  1. Cracking, I think it’s fair to say Nintendo are back in the race! Now they’ve just got to stay there, virtual console please.
