The release of Sea of Thieves is rapidly approaching like a pirate ship with the wind in its sails, but there’s just about time for one last beta before 20th March.
As of right now, and running until 10AM GMT on Sunday, anyone and everyone can download the Sea of Thieves beta client and get playing. Grab it from the Microsoft Store here.
Finally, we can stop being so mysterious: the #SeaOfThieves Final Beta is now LIVE! It runs until Sunday 10am GMT and is open to everyone on Xbox One and Windows 10, so get yourself out onto the seas! https://t.co/0BZetpbTsF

Update: Most exciting is that the final beta has opened up a new faction to take missions from. The Merchant Alliance voyages join those of the Gold Hoarders with a different type of mission to take on. The Skeleton Fort attacks will also be live, so you should be on the lookout for the Skull Cloud hanging over a fort that signifies that a fort can be attacked for great rewards. Just be wary that if you encounter other players, their own motivations might not align with yours…
This will also be the first time that we see Sea of Thieves will all of its Xbox One X enhancements and 4K.
Up until now the alpha and beta testing has either required that you be part of the its insider programme, have pre-ordered the game, or joined the general Xbox Insider programme to join the Scale Tests over the last month. Though anyone can become an Insider, this time there’s no faffing about, it’s a fully open beta.
If you’ve already got previous betas installed, there’s no need to do anything but make sure that it’s up to date. Otherwise, you can head to the Microsoft Store on PC or Xbox One and download it. Rare have got a little guide in case you run into any problems.
I hope all your voyages end in a great big chest of treasure and not a grizzly death at the hand of some reanimated skeletons or the teeth of a great big shark.

Can’t wait now after seeing that article update. The beta client isn’t that big a download either, so I can’t say no.
JR.
Is it normal to have like a million Beta’s now?
