The trailer leaked a little earlier today but now we have the official teaser for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, which will launch on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 – no exclusivity this time – on
September 14th, six months from today.
The full will reveal will occur at three events on April 27th and you can win a chance to be at one of them by heading to the official website. The game is said to “deliver Lara Croft’s defining moment” and will conclude the trilogy of games which rebooted Lara’s origin story.
Judging by the brief shots in the trailer it looks like my guess was correct and the game will feature an eclipse, and Lara appears to be atop Mayan temple, so we’re heading to South America.

Enjoyed the first one. Found the second one pretty boring though.
Andrewww
Enjoyed both previous games, and am happy to hear there’s no stupid (timed) exclusivity for this one.

Nice, not too long to wait either. I hope she gets the proper Lara outfit on and drops the Nathan Drake clothes.

Will buy this after a year when it’s cheap. That’s my personal screw you to SE for their Microsoft timed exclusively bribe last time around..

If I didn’t rent 95% of the games I play anyway, I’d do the same.
Besides, I thought their excuse for the exclusivity of Rise was that if MS hadn’t funded development, it wouldn’t have been made because sales of the reboot were lower than expected. So who’s funding this new game because sales for Rise were A LOT less than the reboot. Maybe it was all BS after all.
