Come Easter Sunday, Xbox Live Gold subscribers will have some free gaming goodness to look forward to, as Microsoft have announced some pretty big games for the coming month’s Games with Gold lineup. You’ll be able to get the gorgeous puzzler The Witness throughout April, and this will be joined by Assassin’s Creed Syndicate as the second Xbox One game on 16th April.
Things are a little less exciting on the Xbox 360 and backward compatibility front, as they’re throwing Cars 2 into the mix for the first half of the month, but then following that up with Dead Space 2.
Here’s the four games and their specific timings:
- The Witness – 1st April to 30th April
- Assassin’s Creed Syndicate – 16th April to 15th May
- Cars 2: The Video Game – 1st April to 15th April
- Dead Space 2 – 16th April to 30th April
And don’t forget that you can currently still download some of this month’s games:
- Superhot – 16th March to 15th April
- Brave – 1st March to 15th March
- Quantum Conundrum – 16th March to 31st March

As much as I love Mad Max, Xbox have definitely ‘won’ this month. No contest.
Competition hearing up… I like it :D

It’s a great month, and there’s two games there that I’ve held off from playing.
