Supermassive Announce The Dark Pictures Anthology, Begining With Man Of Medan

Until Dawn developers Supermassive Games have revealed their next project which will be the first title in the Dark Pictures Anthology published by Bandai Namco. As you might expect the games in the series will be horror titles, beginning with Man of Medan, which features a young cast not unlike those from Until Dawn, investigating a wreck on the ocean bed.

An actual ghost ship is shown the trailer and our plucky heroes do the sensible thing and speed away as fast as possible. Lols, of course they don’t the go aboard the spooky vessel and horrible things happen.

If you’re wondering about the name of the game, the SS Ourang Medan is said to have sunk in Dutch East Indies waters after its entire crew had died under suspicious circumstances. Presumably that’s the ship in the trailer.

The series will be released on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Definitely one to keep an eye on.

  1. I very much hope they go back to their excellent Until Dawn formula. Looks promising.

And I’ll probably get The Inpatient tonight, before the sale ends.
