Focus Home Interactive and Deck 13 have released the very first gameplay from The Surge 2, a sequel to their Dark Souls-ish title from last year.
The trailer shows a sector called the Park, located in the middle of a city ravaged by the events of The Surge. In this artificial forest a new group called The Hunters are searching for a creature but must avoid out-of-control former park guardians.
I didn’t pick up the first title but this footage has put The Surge 2 on my radar, there’s a definite Horizon Zero Dawn-ish look to it, blending nature with robots.
The Surge 2 will launch in 2019 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
