H1Z1 And Everquest To Get A Mobile Versions

A diversified holding company called Nantworks has teamed up with Daybreak to create NantG Mobile which will create and publish mobile versions of H1Z1 Battle Royale and Everquest. The company will also build new games and take control of H1Z1 on PC, starting by launching Z1 Battle Royale, a “revitalized PC-based version of H1Z1: Battle Royale.”

Daybreak’s well tested game engine currently running EverQuest and H1Z1, combined with the proprietary next generation mobile game engine which we will develop and launch in the joint venture, are platforms which will enable unprecedented scale and provide enjoyment to millions of simultaneous players,” said John Wiacek, NantG Mobile’s Head of Game Engine Development.

There’s no mention of what will happen to the PlayStation 4 version of the game, but that has been incredibly successful so I doubt it will be going anywhere. Daybreak have recently stated that there are no plans to bring it to Xbox One.
