It’s official. After a few leaks, reports, and just having a handle on how Microsoft’s timed exclusivity tends to work, PUBG Corp. have now confirmed that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will be out for PlayStation 4 on 7th December.
Changhan Kim, CEO, PUBG Corp. said, “We’re excited to expand our PUBG service and introduce new communities to our Battle Royale game. PlayStation has developed an amazing community of passionate gamers and we can’t wait to join them this holiday season.”
The game will arrive on PS4 with some exclusive in-game items themed after Uncharted – Drake’s outfit – and The Last of Us – Ellie’s backpack – and with some pre-order bundles. Much more importantly, the game is the for 1.0 release, with the three maps Erangel, Miramar and Sanhok, as well as in-game features like rankings, event mode and the Survivor Pass.
The base game will come in at £24.99, while the Survivor’s Edition with the Survivor Pass, 2,300 G-Coin and 20,000 BP costs £39.99, and the Champion’s Edition with the Survivor Pass, 6,000 G-Coin and 20,000 BP costs £49.99.
