You will need to sell a kidney to afford the Dark Souls Trilogy Collector’s Edition

 

On 31st May avid fans of Dark Souls will be able to pick an very special collectors edition, there will be just 2,000 of them and you can only get them via the Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe store. Let’s take a look at what you will get.

  • The Dark Souls Trilogy, including Dark Souls Remastered, Dark Souls II: Scholar of The First Sin, Dark Souls III: The Fire Fades, plus all DLC content for all three games.
  • A high-quality, numbered, and hand-painted 34cm Elite Knight at the Bonfire statue.
  • The Dark Souls Trilogy soundtrack – featuring 6 soundtrack CDs with music from all three games.
  • And a 460-page Dark Souls Trilogy compendium – containing illustrated maps with boss and NPC locations, item encyclopedia, bestiary of enemies and bosses, and a manuscript of all dialogue from each game reiterate.

So how much are you paying for that lot then? Maybe £250? £300 at a push, no more surely. Nope, incorrect, The Dark Souls Trilogy Collector Edition will cost you £450, more the console you will be playing the game on.

If you have money to burn you can pre-order the pack here. The rest of us can pick up the trilogy – minus the statue, book etc – on March 1st.
