The Persona 5 train just keeps on rolling. Fans of the franchise have a new spinoff to look forward to in the form of a Dynasty Warriors style action RPG called Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers.
Announced during the 2nd day of the Persona Super Live P-Sound Street 2019: Welcome to No. Q Theater concert event, this is a brand new game separate from the re-release of the main game, Persona 5 The Royal, which was revealed yesterday.
Persona 5 Scramble is a collaboration between Atlus and Koei Tecmo and it shows. In the brief footage shown, we see Persona 5 protagonist Joker laying the smackdown on hordes of enemies with his handy knife and his trusty persona. We also see a shot of a brand new character at the very end of the trailer, who will likely play an important role in the story of this spinoff.
A release date has yet to be announced, but we do know that it’ll be coming to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.

Just why Atlus….
You knew what people wanted and expected when you put Persona 5 S (after the great P4G on Vita) it wasn’t exactly unrealistic to expect a switch port.
They must’ve seen the feedback and yet continued down this route of announcement of an announcement.
Unless there are some different cultural reasoning, I can’t see how they thought a Musu game would be greatly received.
