Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will be available in June

The long-awaited Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, considered the spiritual successor of Castlevania due to the involvement of Koji Igarashi, has been given a release date. The digital PC, Xbox One, and PS4 versions will release June 18th, with the physical release following on June 21st. The Switch digital version will arrive a week later on June 25th, with the physical edition coming on June 28th. To accompany the news of the release dates a new trailer has also been unveiled which showcases the improvements that have been made for the art style and graphics.

Bloodtained got its funding through Kickstarter where it held the record of most amount of money pledged for a video game on the fundraising platform back in 2015, with it’s final pledge amount standing at  $5,545,991 . That record no longer stands but it goes to show just how much support there has been for Bloodstained.
