Idris Elba and Rosario Dawson among the cast for NBA 2K20’s MyCareer mode

When it comes to the NBA 2K games 2K put a lot of money forward to make the MyCareer mode stand out. There have been soundtracks produced by Jay-Z, storylines directed by Spike Lee, and Michael B. Jordan has featured in the story of a MyCareer mode too. That trend of getting big names in to push the narrative part of NBA 2K20 hasn’t stopped with the next game featuring acting stars such as Idris Elba and Rosario Dawson.

The MyCareer mode has the title When The Lights Are Brightest, and it looks like the main character is a college kid who is struggling with things both on and off the court. It’s kind of a similar story to the previous MyCareer plots in previous NBA 2K games but I guess there’s only so many plots that can be focused around basketball. In addition to Idris and Rosario the MyCareer mode will star Thomas Middleditch, Ernie Hudson, Lamorne Morris, Maverick Carter, and Lebron James.

For the first time NBA 2K20 will include the WNBA. NBA 2K20 will be released on September 6th for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch.
