CD Projekt RED has confirmed that it will be releasing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on October 15th and will be available both digitally and physically. This is the complete edition of the game and includes the expansions Hearts of Stone and Blood & Wine. To mark the release date a new trailer was released to show Geralt’s journey taking place on Nintendo’s console, and even if some sacrifices have had to be made it’s impressive the game is being released on the Switch.
You may be wondering how The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition performs on the Switch, so it’s a good thing Stefan was able to preview the build. In the preview Stefan writes:
While there’s comparisons to be made to other ports that have graced the Switch, and the fuzziness of The Witcher 3 on Switch is indeed comparable to Doom and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, it feels much better than those ports. The key difference? Well The Witcher 3 was always a 30fps game, while Doom and Wolfenstein II started at 60fps and had to trade in one of the core pillars of a slick and fast-paced id Software shooter on the way.
