First person parkour game Ghostrunner is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One

Take a chunk of Mirror’s Edge, a dash of Dishonored, and mix in some Cyberpunk sprinkles and you might just get Ghostrunner, a new action game coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One alongside the previously announced PC version via Steam.

The game set in the future after a global cataclysm forces the remaining few humans to take shelter in a huge tower built by The Architect, who died mysteriously years ago. “A person’s worth depends on the category of implants they have, defining their whole lives,” say All In! Games. “The implants—given to them in childhood—determine which social group a person belongs to. If you weren’t lucky enough to get a good life, there is nothing you can do.”

“High mobility of the main character, one-hit-one-kill, and bullet-time mechanics are the bases of the gameplay, which focuses on fast-paced, high-adrenaline combat,” they add.

The game places you in the nimble boots of a cyber-warrior who can fight in both the physical world and cyberspace. You must climb the tower, unlocking secrets that may help save the remaining few humans alive.

Ascend humanity’s last remaining shelter, a great tower-city. The tower is torn by violence, poverty, and chaos. Conquer your enemies, discover the secrets of the superstructure and your own origin and obtain the power to challenge The Keymaster.

According to the Steam listing we can expect “Blood and gore in realistic graphics. Violence on human and human-like characters. Mutilated and dismembered bodies. Mature coarse language. The fear-inducing atmosphere, events, and characters.”

Developers One More Level were behind God’s Trigger which was released earlier this year.
