It was back in 2018 that Nioh 2 was confirmed by Koei Tecmo but it was earlier this year when the information being released about the game was ramped up. In May there was a closed alpha test which lasted just over a week. Then a few weeks ago we got details about the character who will be half-human, half Yokai which comes in handy as they’ll be travelling to the realm of the Yokai and fighting them on their home turf.
You won’t have to wait until early 2020 to get an experience of the new enemies and the realm of the Yokai, as Sony and Koei Tecmo have confirmed there will be a Nioh 2 open beta running from November 1st until November 10th.
