Forever Entertainment have confirmed that they are remaking Sega’s arcade shooters The House of the Dead 1 & 2 with their studio MegaPixel handling the new versions.
As they games originally featured on rails shooting with Light Guns the game play will have to be updated in some way but no details have been given. Forever Entertainment have released a number of VR games and that would seem to be the best fit for the shooter.

Forever Entertainment are also handling to remakes of Panzer Dragoon 1 & 2 for Nintendo Switch.
The last time we saw the franchise was back in 2011 when House of The Dead Overkill launched on PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii. “It’s still one of the better Move-enabled games on the market, and hopefully SEGA will consider transferring some of its other under-appreciated titles from the Wii but we won’t hold our breath,” we said in our 7/10 review.
No platforms or release dates have been announced for House of the Dead.
