Overcooked! 2’s Winter Wonderland free update out now

Ghost Town Games and Team17 have released a brand new, free update for Overcooked! 2 across all platforms, bringing some festivities to the kitchen. The Winter Wonderland update adds new levels and chefs, as well as updates to various modes. The horde is now comprised of Christmas trees, pudding, and candy canes, while there’s also some madness at the carnival. You can grab a sneak glimpse of what is available in the trailer below.

Overcooked! 2 will be joining Horizon Zero Dawn and Uncharted: Lost Legacy in the PS Now January update. In our review of Overcooked! 2 Jim wrote:

Overcooked 2 may be short on surprises, but that’s totally fine. It expands and refines exactly what we loved about the original, with plenty of fun and challenging stages to be played again and again, whether alone, with friends, or online. You couldn’t ask much more from this indie sequel: a filling follow-up that, while familiar, will have fans reaching for their aprons on launch day.

From the heady days of the Mega Drive up until the modern day gaming has been my main hobby. I'll give almost any game a go.

  1. Really enjoyed co op with my daughter on this game quite some time ago but difficulty ramped up very quickly and she (and I) started to struggle. We tried it again the other day from where we left off but failed to even get one star. She’s wanting done more co op after we completed the marvellous Luigis Mansion 3 so if this updated the main story with new theme it might be good for us to start from the start again. I’ll certainly download this update and give it a look see.
