Capcom has confirmed another monster for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne and some fans may be happy to see a familiar face. In May and as part of title update 4 the blazing Black Dragon Alatreon will be making its presence known to hunters. Alongside the monster there will be Alatreon armour and weapons coming as part of the update as well. More information will be given over the coming months but Alatreon is not the only content to look forward to.
On March 23rd for consoles Title Update 3 will see Raging Brachydios and Furious Rajang be added to Monster Hunter World: Iceborne with updated movesets. If you beat them though you’ll be able to craft some top quality gear to use against the other monsters. Alongside the monsters the banishing ball guiding lands tool, hunter helper master rank, and the first wave of layered weapons. The update will come to PC on April 9th.
On April 10th the title update sync will happen so the PC and console versions of the will be at parity and will be updated at the same time. The seasonal Full Bloom Fest will start on April 10th too and run until May 7th. During this time the second layered weapons will be released and players will face off against Master Rank Kulve Taroth and Arch Tempered Namielle. May is not the end of the roadmap as from June onwards there will be more monsters and updates heading to the game.
