Last year, All In! Games revealed the first-person parkour title Ghostrunner which looked to be a mix of Mirror’s Edge, Dredd and Dishonored but in a cyberpunk style world. The game is about players ascending The Tower, the last real tower city which houses humanity. It is far from a utopia though and is instead filled with people in poverty and a ton of oppression. The main character does not appear to be a fan of that so has decided to take their concerns to The Keymaster, the mind behind the Tower. This is no regular meeting as The Keymaster is a villain and you have a sword.
A new trailer has been released to show part of the world in a CGI setting, and the trailer has been released to mark the release of a demo that is available until May 13th on Steam. You can download the Ghostrunner demo from here.
Ghostrunner’s official description reads:
Blood-thirsty enemies, an environment full of deadly traps, virtual reality overlayed on top of real space—all this and more awaits you as you make your way, level by level, towards the top of the tower. Your high-tech blade slices through flesh and metal, delivering gory one-hit kills. Bullet-time mechanics give you an edge in fast, high-adrenaline combat. Ghostrunner will be released on PS4, Xbox One, and Steam later this year.
