Having suffered multiple delays, it’s finally launch day for The Last of Us: Part II. Prepare for a chorus of jet engines as hundreds of thousands of fans fire up their PlayStation 4 console this weekend to play the jaw-dropping Naughty Dog sequel.
Of course, there will be plenty of series die-hards who want to go that extra bit further. If beating the game on Survivor isn’t enough, you can aim for that precious platinum trophy having unlocked Part II’s list of accolades.
If you want to completely avoid any spoilers then we don’t recommend reading the list below as it may spoil some gameplay elements. Overall it’s a pretty straightforward trophy list and one that doesn’t require you to complete The Last of Us: Part II on a certain difficulty level. Still, we’d recommend trying the game on Survivor, allowing it to really flex its muscles.
Consider how long it takes to complete The Last of Us: Part II, we’d estimate that a platinum trophy run will take between 40-50 hours (around 30 if using a collectables guide on your first run). You can find the full list of trophies below.

I read that you have to at least play it 2/3 times to get the platinum as you can’t fully upgrade weapons etc in one play through

No “Don’t kill anyone” trophy?

As much as I liked the first game, trophy-wise, it was complete rubbish. If you finished the story, and even looked for collectibles, you still ended up with less than 10% of the trophies. Sony should not let developers mess up trophies like that. I hope the new game is better in this respect.
