The free Hitman 3 starter pack lets you play the Dubai location until April 5th

IO Interactive have released the Hitman 3 Starter pack which gives you access the ICA Facility to begin your journey as a master assassin, and until April 5th you will also be able to play the Dubai location from the full game.

Over the coming the weeks the Start Pack will also give you access to other missions for a limited time, right now you can also access the first mission from Hitman 2. “Whether it’s a full location or an Elusive Target, there’ll be new challenges waiting for you. Anything that we make available for free in the Starter Pack will also be free for HITMAN 3 owners for the same duration, which means that Hawke’s Bay is currently available for all HITMAN 3 players,” say IO.

If you already own Hitman 1 or 2 then you can import the locations in to the Start Packer and play them with updated lighting effects, animations and Agent 47’s new camera item. Any progress or unlocks you make in the Starter Pack will also carry over to the full game if you decided to purchase it.

IO Interactive recently announced a season pass of Hitman 3 paid DLC. The Seven Deadly Sins DLC begins today, 30th March, bringing a new sinful twist on the game, with a new suit to unlock and a sin-themed item to unlock and use across the whole World of Assassination trilogy.

Act 1: Greed is a new Escalation contract called The Greed Enumeration, allowing you carry items between each of the three stages – a new gameplay mechanic. The level used for this is the Dubai stage, which has been modified and redressed to fit the theme.

Should you succeed, you’ll be able to unlock the Rapacious Suit as well the the sinful Greedy Little Coin and The Devil’s Cane to wield.

Each individual pack is priced at £5/$5/€5 with a new one expected every four to six weeks. You can save a smidgeon by buying the whole collection for £30/$30/€30.

The Seven Deadly Sins DLC will modify levels from Hitman 3, like filling up Dubai with gold coins!

Don’t worry if you don’t want to spend any coin (greedy, little or otherwise), because there is still plenty of free content coming, but IOI are shifting away from monthly roadmaps. Instead they are kicking off the Season of Greed, which will include Escalations, Featured Contracts and Elusive Targets, just as before. It’s just branded differently.

Hitman 3 wraps the stylish and inventive trilogy perfectly, having scored an 8 out of 10 in our review:

Charting the series’ progress since that 2016 Paris debut has been a fascinating journey. IO have learned a lot over the past five years and that really shows in Hitman 3. It’s a flashier, more fluid evolution of IO’s original template – a rewarding conclusion to one of the most unique video game franchises around, and one we’ll continue playing for many weeks and months to come.

Hitman 3 is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, as well as Google Stadia and Nintendo Switch.
