Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Discovery Tour: Viking Age will release this autumn – second year of support incoming

Ubisoft has discussed a little more about their upcoming plans for Viking ’em up Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, recapping new tweaks that will be made in free updates, giving a quick look at the upcoming The Siege of Paris DLC expansion coming this summer, and also announcing the return of the popular Discovery Tour. Discovery Tour: Viking Age will release this autumn.

Best of all for fans of the game is that Ubisoft will be supporting the game into its second year, instead of dropping it like a slimy old fish that you don’t really want anymore. Rumours suggest Eivor will be heading to the realm of Muspelheim.

Some tweaks to the game include the upcoming addition of one-handed swords to the game, a popular request amongst players, as well as just continuing to stamp out bugs that get in the way of your Viking pillaging fun times.

This summer, the second major expansion, The Siege of Paris, will release. Eivor will travel over to France to, infiltrating the city and trying to secure the future of Eivor’s clan. This will follow on from the Wrath of the Druids expansion that wandered over to Ireland to fight a new foe.

Then later this year the Discovery Tour historical mode will be returning. Discovery Tour: Viking Age will let you play as people in Viking settlements and have its own set of achievements to hunt down. It’s sure to be just as popular as those found in AC Origins and AC Odyssey.
