Abandoned PS5 app has been delayed until August

Abandoned by Blue Box Studios has caused quite a stir recently. Announced as a PS5 exclusive, things really heated up when a promo tweet that was posted made people speculate that Abandoned was actually a cover for a new Silent Hill game. As things escalated Blue Box Studios confirmed that Abandoned had nothing to do with Silent Hill, and that the developer had no affiliation with Konami. Konami owns the rights to the Silent Hill franchise. At the time the company released the following statement.

“We wanted to set things straight,” they posted. “We have no relations with Konami. Silent Hill is owned by Konami. We do not have any relations with Hideo Kojima. It was never our intention to tease the name as Silent Hill. We sincerely apologize for this.”

Now Hasan Kahraman, Blue Box Games director, has released a statement that the expected PS5 app, which was meant to release today, has been delayed until August. This comes down to the reason that the team needs more time to let things die down, and also create an experience that will meet standards, and when the trailer is expected to be ready. Abandoned was revealed back in April for PS5.

How high is the chance that this is rendered in engine?

    • He’s probably just reading his script, you write down what you’re going to say before going on video

  3. If the conspiracy theory isn’t true, there isn’t a hope this game releases in 2021
