Rocksmith+ will be launching in September

Rocksmith+ will be released on September 6th, Ubisoft has confirmed today. It will be on PC only and it will be available through the Ubisoft store as a subscription service. If you want to subscribe Rocksmith+ will cost £12.99 for a 1-month subscription,£34.99fora3-monthsubscription, and £84.99 for a 12-monthsubscription. The service will also be made available on mobiles later this year. Those who have Rocksmith will get a discount with those going for the three month subscription will get a month free, while those who go for 12 months will get three months free. 

Rocksmith+ will have a library of more than 5,000 songs at launch, with more songs being added weekly. Some of the featured artists will include The Clash, Juan Gabriel, Alicia Keys, and Santana. A number of genres will be in the game such as Rock, Metal, Pop, Latin, Hip-Hop and Indie. The service also features an adaptive difficulty that will adjust the how players learn based on their skill level. The difficulty will take into account performance across the game instead of just one.

A free Rocksmith+ Connect app, which will have a phone-as-a-mic feature on iOS and Android.  The app will work with acoustic and electric instruments played through an amp. It can also be connected using Rocksmith Real Tone cable, sold separately. The app will also act as a guitar tuner. There will be a number of lessons for players to take to improve their abilities. Rocksmith+ was originally announced back in June 2021 during the UbiForward event. It was set to be released in late 2021 but after the closed beta, Ubisoft decided to delay the service to this year in an effort to improve the user experience.
