There is going to be a Final Fantasy VII Rebirth State of Play, Sony has confirmed, and it is set to take place on February 6th. Not much detail has been given of what will be shown from the game, but it will be extended look so returning characters, locations, and combat will likely compromise the majority of the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth State of Play.
This State of Play comes less than a week after the last one, where Sony announced the likes of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Metro Awakening, and the Until Dawn remaster. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is our Most Wanted Game of 2024, and is almost certainly the biggest PS5 exclusive of the year. We’ve been hands on with the game a few months ago and got to play the Fated Mt. Nibel Mission that flashed back to a time before, as well as set foot in Under Junon – including that same Terror of the Deep boss.
When we had a look at Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Stefan said, “The middle chapter in a trilogy is always a difficult prospect, but Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth looks like it’s absolutely pulling it off. The more open world areas are certainly going to be enticing after the linearity of Remake, while the new Synergy attacks add another avenue for over-the-top cinematic attacks to showcase the game’s graphics, and then there’s all the mini-games, story beats and locales that were teased within the release date trailer last week. Needless to say, anyone that enjoyed Final Fantasy 7 Remake needs to have Rebirth on their wishlist for 2024.”
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will be releasing exclusively for PlayStation 5 on 29th February 2024.
