Valve has announced that Portal 2 DLC, entitled Perpetual Testing Initiative, will release on  May 8th for PC & Mac. The DLC will be free.
The Perpetual Testing Initiative will allow players to create their own puzzles and share them. Created puzzles can be published onto the Steam Workshop where other players can rate them. Valve has also stated that, “Selected puzzles will automatically be downloaded and installed inside Portal 2.”
So far there’s no word on a release of this DLC for either the PS3 or Xbox 360.

If this doesn’t come to PS3…
I’ll cry.

Perfect timing, I’m just about to start Portal 2.

Ooops forgot about it again. Must buy it!

Same here. Think I’ll add it to Lovefilm for a try out first.

I’d actually forgotten that I own it…

oh well i have the pc version of portal 2, i would love it on ps3 but then again with file format differences it could be difficult, one way around it of course is for valve to take the most popular ones and port them to consoles

Good thing my ps3 version came with a pc/mac code with it. Can’t wait to try it out.

This sounds very cool. Lets hope for a PS3 update as well
MrJimmy
I’d be pleasantly surprised if this went beyond PC version, Valve’s approach with similar in the past has needed mouse and keyboard.

This won’t come to ps3 or 360. Hopefully the levels do though.

in these days of day one and disc locked dlc, this is kind of refreshing.

Gabe is full of sh#t telling everyone how the ps3 version will be the best version of the game and only releasing it for pc and mac!
colmshan1990
He said it’d be the best on console.
Also, PS3 owners got the PC version free.
If only my laptop wasn’t so much of a craptop… :(
david24
surly the pc versions of almost any game is the better version?
clancy10
After recently starting this for the fourth time this is good news, hopefully they port the top tests to PS3.
