God of War: Ascension is out this week, but it’s not going to be available as part of today’s Store Update – you’ll need to do it the old fashioned way and buy it on disk.
However, SCEE’s Jawad Ashraf has said that the game should be out on the PSN next week. Expect the game to be pretty sizable when it does roll onto the Store, though.
God of War scored an 8/10 in our review.
Jawad also says that the Batman: Arkham Asylum DLC was pulled “as per request of the publisher” and that the free Metal Gear Rising DLC isn’t free here in Europe because “that’s a US initiative.”

With SCE as the publishers it may well be a sane £39.99.

I still think they should be cheaper to download, even if its a small amount as they are not using any plastic cases, discs or manuals or game covers, surely this saves them cash?
