Eurogamer are reporting that Grand Theft Auto V will be heading to PC next year. This information comes from “multiple industry sources”, though there is no clear confirmation that the PS3 and Xbox 360 title will be releasing on anything other than these consoles.
Rockstar have a history of releasing their games on PC at a later date, with GTA IV and L.A. Noire releasing for Windows several months after the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions. Red Dead Redemption, however, still remains console exclusive, and Max Payne 3 released on PC just two weeks after its initial release.
It does make sense, since Rockstar wouldn’t want to lose another revenue stream, and previously nVidia listed GTA V as one of the reasons why people should upgrade their PC this Autumn, though soon backtracked by saying that they do not have any information on a PC version.
There is still no word on whether there will be a PS4 or Xbox One version of the game, or even whether Rockstar will move the Online portion over to next generation systems. Our collective first impressions of GTA Online just went live today.

I tried to get it as part of that free £50 Asda shop thing today, but they had fixed the glitch by the time I saw it. I’m beginning to lean more towards waiting for a PC release, even if I see a good deal. Online sounds like it’s mostly broken, and even when it works it’s ruined by campers and bullet lag.
