Hohokum is peculiarly gorgeous. I’m still not entirely sure I understand what it is, or that I could adequately describe it if I did know. What I can tell you is that it looks a bit bonkers but in a very pretty way. And who doesn’t enjoy something that’s uniquely strange and very pretty?
This trailer is a celebration of the game’s soundtrack, co written by Scott Hansen (Tycho) and Ben Benjamin. The Fun Fair video above features a track by Benjamin but the level in the game will be set to music provided by Tycho called “L” from his new album out on March 18th.
I’m still not totally sure what Hohokum is but there’s no doubting that it’ll have some unique and interesting music to go with that kooky art style. We’ll know more after GDC, where the game will be showing on Vita and PS4.

I’ve enjoyed a track or two from Tycho before. Couple this with what looks to be a wonderfully bonkers-like experience and I can’t help but be interested in Hohokum.

Looking forward to giving this a go, reminds me a little of the quirkiness of both nobi-nobi-boy and Loco Roco.
