Bobba Fett is a featured bad guy in Star Wars Battlefront and EA have revealed details on how the character will play. He joins Luke Skywalker and his [SPOILERS!] Dad, Darth Vader, as part of the ‘Heroes and Villains’ roster.
“As one of the iconic villains playable in Star Wars Battlefront, Boba Fett is designed to be a dreaded force in battle,” say EA. “His mobility and deadly cache of weaponry should send you fleeing if you see him on the battlefront. Conversely, the chance to walk in his boots and try out his arsenal is the fulfillment of a quintessential Star Wars fantasy.”
Bob comes with a jetpack which allows him to fly around the map, an EE-3 Carbine Rifle, and two wrist launches, one which fires rockets whilst the other has a Flame Blast attack.
“When we first designed Boba Fett’s flight pack, it quickly became clear that the ability to fly unhindered was very powerful compared to other characters who didn’t have that ability,” Jamie Keen explains. “For instance, when Boba Fett was facing off with Luke Skywalker in early development, it was unbalanced as there were no limitations placed upon his flight capability. That’s why we’ve added a fuel mechanic which forces Boba Fett to land from time to time before he can take off again.”

Excellent, I wonder who else will be a hero or villain in this one. Maybe Padme Amidala whose make up and dull script delivery will bore players to zero health? Or, maybe, Jar Jar…
