Check Out The First Shots From The Assassin’s Creed Movie

These pictures were released over to the holidays exclusively to Empire so had massive watermarks all over them, but they have now been published by Ubisoft so we can post them.

First up is a shot of Michael Fassbender’s character, Aguilar, having some fisticuffs.

The second picture shows Fassbender again, but this time he is playing Aguilar’s present day relative, Callum Lynch. He seems to be in prison and has a priest with him.

Finally, we have The Fass again and he is joined by costar Ariane Labed.

    Shamelessly stolen from Reddit.

  2. If he doesn’t do the famous slow motion walk to blend in with crown & the eagle view, ledge jump then this movie will bomb lol

    • Half of the audience will lose their mind :))

  3. For me assassins creed died when ezio did

  4. Looks like Prince of Persia.

  5. It looks…..

    …..

    *drinks coffee*

Generic. The kind of generic that screams “er… i suppose it’s worth a watch” but still generic.

  6. Wow. Real castles and real fire. Just amazed. Not CGI ? Astonishing.

I am venting. It has been too long since a good historical movie came out….this will not be a historical movie. It is an action flick. Hope it captures a bit of the AC feeling.

    • Was about to say I thought Kingdom of Heaven was good but that actually came out in 2005! :O

      • 11 years is a long time. Also 300 doesn’t count as a historical movie.

I always say that after the wave of superhero movies will wash away there will be more historical movies. Right now SF and superheroes are going strong. In fact so strong, that it seems to me that any other type of movie’s marketing gets overshadowed.

I’m just sitting here, still waiting for the perfect movie or TV show about Hannibal of Barca
