Information on Microsoft exclusive Sea of Thieves has been rather thin on the ground but as the game enters the alpha stage the developers have released an eight minute video showing us what to expect. It’s a little heavy on the squeezebox (ooh, Matron!), but does look like it could be a lot of fun.
Branded a “shared world adventure game”, rather than an MMO, the game is being developed by Rare and is expected to release later this year.

Watching them being so inept was frustrating but the game looks like it’s shaping up really well. Hopefully it comes to Steam and not just the Microsoft Store (on PC).

As a Microsoft published game from a first party studio, it’ll 99.999999999994% only be coming through the Windows Store.
