Marvel Snap’s Halloween even is now running, and will be running until the 8th of November. The event is titled “Join Us For A Bite”, and has a number of tasks to complete. As you complete these tasks you will earn Halloween treats that can be used to unlock decorations that alter the web design of Marvel Snap. If you unlock all of the decorations, you will also earn 100 Credits.
There are three tasks to complete in the Marvel Snap Halloween event. The first is to complete two random in-game daily missions. Doing this will earn you 20 Halloween treats. The second requires a little bit of deck tweaking. You need to play ten matches with one of the following cards in your deck; Brood, Ghost Rider, Green Goblin, Hobgoblin, Morbius, Mister Sinister, Mysterio, or Nightcrawler. Completing this task will earn a further 50 Halloween treats. The final is task is to complete cube treats when playing matches. The conversion rate here is one cube equals one treat. There is a daily limit of 200 treats, and doing this will earn you a further 200 Halloween treats.
The Marvel Snap Halloween event is separate to the Symbiote Invasion season event. The Symbiote Invasion season pass costs £8.99 and will net those who pay for it a Miles Morales Spider-Man card. That card’s ability reads, “If a card moved last turn, this costs 1.” Further down the paid track of the season pass are boosters for Miles Morales, variants for the likes of Carnage and Spider-Woman, as well as some mystery variants. Players who opt to not to pay for the premium pass will still get some rewards on the Marvel Snap Symbiote Invasion for free including boosters, a couple of mystery variants, credits, and gold to spend in the Marvel Snap store.
In our Marvel Snap review, Jim wrote, “The best thing about Marvel Snap is that it requires so little effort to play yet has brilliant strategic depth. Matches are so quick that you’ll rarely feel the sting of disappointment upon defeat, while each win pushes you towards the next card reveal. Like any live service game, it’s constantly evolving with balance patches a roadmap teasing new content and features. Let’s just hope we’ll see the developers lessen the grind and give players more ways to unlock their favourite Marvel heroes and villains in future.”
