For the second week running the PS3 has outsold Nintendo’s Wii in Japan. Selling around 39,000 – although down from the previous week’s near 56,000 – the PS3 outsold the Wii by 3,000. While not being a massive number, it’s still a positive difference that bodes well for PS3 in that territory. Apparently, the Xbox 360 also sold a few, but we suspect gamers were entranced by the red lights on the front, and ultimately disappointed when they got the machine home.
