Next month’s Game Developers Conference will mark the start of third party developers getting to grips with Home – building Home Spaces and custom mini-games tailored to their own titles. The talk, titled ‘Home Tools and Support: Creating Content for PlayStation Home’ will be on Thursday 21st February and will cover an overview of the current Home Tools features and the feature roadmaps for the future. There will also be a walk through of the process of creating a space for Home and Sony will show a guide to creating 3D mini-games within the Home environments. To round things off the’lll take a sneak peak at Home Interactive Item creation. That’s a lot to cram in an hour, but it does mark the start of the Home development process outside of SCEE.
