It’s rude to point and laugh, but the 360 version of Burnout Paradise requires a hard drive for online play, so Core and Arcade SKU owners (the two without the built-in hard drive) are not able to connect with other players and get the most out of the game. An email from EA’s support team confirms this: ‘I understand that you are currently having issues with the requirements for Burnout Paradise. I apologize for your situation, and the inconvenience that this causes you. The hard drive is needed to store temporary data when playing online as the data transferred from one console to another requires storage space greater than what the memory card can contain.‘ So for the best experience, buy the 360 version with a hard drive, whatever it’s called, or of course, ANY PlayStation 3.
