According to the official Japanese SCEJ site, the current closed Home Beta is due to end in a matter of weeks, presumably then opening up the final 1.0 version to a wider public. Additionally, here’s a list of companies that have signed up as partners for Home, providing content, spaces etc:
IREM
Activision
Acquire
Atlus
Walt Disney Japan
SNK
EA
Capcom
Q Entertainment
Game Republic
Genki
Koei
Konami
Spike
Sega
D3 Publisher
Tecmo
Nippon Ichi Software
Hudson
Bandai Namco Games
Ubisoft
Home has a major presence at TGS this year, as can be seen by these photographs from the show.

It’s good to see this kind of support for home. No Sqeenix tho.
Are these home spaces and wot-not gonna be in there from 1.0 launch or will they be implemented slowly?

I’ll be interested to see the developer spaces, the rest of what has been in the beta so far I wasn’t enthused by.
Home is an interesting add on to the whole PS3 experience but its not for everyone.
Some will get use out of it but I think too many people go for the hype on it (on forums in general, not particularly here) and think it will be a killer app when its really just a social networking add on at best.
But hey its free and if it pulls in a few more punters then best of luck to Sony on it.

wow, an unexpected level of support! nice.
i think home will be great. it’s not going to change the world but i think it’ll nestle in very well and just become part of our daily ps3 life in a way.
there’s a good post on 1up about the uncharted bar, it’s got a naughty dog coded arcade machine and secret doors that have goodies in ( one has a world globe you can then put in your homespace! ).
with that many signed up 3rd parties i think we’re gonna see some stuff that will suprise us.
also, like any good webpage, consistent and regular update is a must. with that number of 3rd party players i’m hoping we’ll see new doors, playthings and ideas weekly.

I’ve gone off the boil a bit about Home but in a way that is good as I now see things a bit more realistically than when I was in the embarrasing “OMG IT’S GONNA BE THE BEST THING EVAR!” phase
