We’ve heard rumblings this morning that LittleBigPlanet, the PS3’s best game yet, is delayed, with Zavvi and a few other websites now saying mid November for release. For the first time in a while we’ve actually checked with Sony, who have assured us that the game is still 100% on for next Friday, the 24th of October.
No delay.

It is probably due to them not having enough stock and the site being updated with a later date to reflect that… giving them enough time to get additional stock in…

Yup this sounds the likely explanation… you can almost hear the ShiteBox360 (TM) fanboy sites rubbing their hands with glee at the possibility of an LBP delay.

Of course this wasn’t going to suffer delays, Sony couldn’t afford to have it delayed with all the bad press that’d get them. I’d imagine Sony are a bit pissed off with those retailers altering release dates on their websites to acount for their lack of stock.

Picked up my copy this morning = ). Anyone living in the Warrington area might like to know that GameXchange are currently selling imported American copies for £44.99. No servers until Tuesday though, but you can still play the main story stuff.
