LBP Servers Now Online
You’ve Played and Created. Now Share. Well, you know, if the game were out.
You’ve Played and Created. Now Share. Well, you know, if the game were out.
As if to add insult to injury, the online servers for LittleBigPlanet are now up, for anyone with the game ‘early’ of course. For those interested, there’s now a SingStar-like star rating for levels and the Popular Tags now scroll as opposed to being over a number of pages.
Of course, it’s not out in Europe, you know, where the game was made, until the middle of next week.

Oh Joy! I can fret about what I’m missing out on even more… if only I could spend my time productively… Perhaps I’ll spend the 8 days sleeping…

…ever since the delay was announced, I’ve been wishing I’d bought a promo copy off ebay for £30… I can’t believe I passed on that…

That’s a relief. The game would glitch out and give you a message about every thirty minutes that it couldn’t connect to the servers (was playing it yesterday). It’s kind of hard to connect when the servers aren’t on.

Booo, I want it now…I do hope GAME follows the “When it arrives, sell it” approach that media molecule said…
I shall find out tomorrow,or whenever I next go into town.

No one knows in GAME whats happening, the last instruction was for it to be launched on Fridays because that when all games are launched and all pricing/merchandising changes take place on a Thursday night. To interfere with that process takes to much effort
Of course nearer the time may be just to sell it anyway without the POS material up etc…

Well I REALLY hope it’s not the latest, I mean what has game done for us lately… of before for that matter.
For example with the PS3’s launch, they did’t open at midnight light most other retailers, (and I only live in a small city) and I was the first to get my PS3 from there, and what did I get, nothing… thanks GAME,thanks.
/another rant for no reason

@ CC_star
I think we’ve broke the comments on this page, we’ve been replying too much
, and its a bit off topic, but hey… What’s your PSN, same as your name on here? we’ll break that instead
.
Anyway, back to the topic at (our) hand..
it doesn’t help that Sony are conservative with their money, whereas M’soft, are just throwing money out there, as the saying goes, you’ve gotta spend money to make money.
Also… competitions? I think the Lichfield branch is being poorly handled, I didn’t know they held any.
But i still think boo because I haven’t got LBP (You gota say something to keep on topic
)

LBP why must you torment me? Things were great all day, but now the servers seem to be having major issues. User created levels are taking forever to load, if they even do. Hope this gets sorted out before long. The game is great, but I’m getting more and more frustrated with this whole thing.

Talking of midnight launches there is one coming soon for GoW2
But Microsoft provide an in-store demo 360 stand with LCD tv, and spare copies of the latest full retail games to put on it
What do SCEE do?
If you said nothing, You’d be giving them to much credit
What a strange relationship to have with Europe’s largest gaming company

I know, its not like were Americans and shoot people because we don’t have money for these thinks, we just get jealous, so why do they continuously have the midnight launches.

Microsoft aren’t only giving gamers what they want, they are supporting retailers to give it to customers
As I’ve posted somewhere before about 12-14 people work in my store, I am the only one with a PS3, ALL the others have a 360
If there’s in store competitions, the prize is a top game on the 360, often provided by MS themselves, where’s Sony? No where, there’s our console 300 quid plus, sell it for us please! yeah great, thats not how business is being done by Microsoft, which seem to be saying ‘what can we do to help you sell more of our console’
