Faith eh, what a sight for early morning eyes. Especially when she’s 10 feet tall on a widescreen billboard, plastered to the side of a local Co-op.
“Don’t look back” it said. Obviously I did, and nearly crashed into the car in front as I failed to notice the brake lights, so engaged was I with checking out the, er, release date.
Here’s the thing: I’ve now seen more adverts for Mirror’s Edge than I have for LittleBIGPlanet. I think that’s bonkers.
Still, at least the trip to TSA Towers to open up for His Majesty was more eventful than usual.

Good morning, Butler.

She is plastered all over the IMAX in London for all and sundry to see.
A potential traffic disaster if ever I have seen one.

She’s been on tv loads as well. With PS3 themed ads rather than 360 - always nice to see!
The only place i’ve seen LPB is on the screens up the side of the tube escalators.
Hmm free weekend - which game to pick up tomorrow? Fallout or ME. Lifes tough.

Fallout 3
November 14th, 2008 at 11:09 am
I REALLY love Fallout, even if you have to walk so much (you won’t hear me saying that you have to drive a lot in GRID), offcourse Fallout isn’t a walking game, but still, I like walking through the Wastelands, using my bloody mess perk to scatter limbs and blood all over my new ranger armor.
ME’s demo really amazed me actually. I love the roll you make in 1st person, don’t think anyone has tried that in any 1st pers. game before. And not to mention the fail-drops. First time actually scared me, but I’m easy to scare. Scarable, that’s what I am.

“A walking game”
I’ve been laughing at that for 10 minutes, at the thought of a walking game

I’d seriously love a walking game. SONY are you listening?
It’ll be a whole new gaming experience. Next up, a swimming game.

I can almost hear Nintendo’s R&D department sketching out details for Wii Walk as we speak. With its special hiking stick accessory that tells you you’re walking too slow and then shows you a little sweaty avatar to take the piss.

I bet they’re going to combine it with Nintendogs too, as a €4,99 expansion pack.
You can walk your sweaty dog then. I hope I can walk my sweaty dog soon again. It’s almost weekends after all.

I’ve seen loads of ads on websites for LittleBigPlanet which is good to see and they’re not just gaming sites.
cc_star Says:

You will have cookies on your computer from gaming sites, the advertisers code knows this and displays you gaming ads, someone else visiting the site will see different ads to you

Interesting - does that apply to the ads here? The one that popped up yesterday offered to find my lesbian love match! How could I resist?
cc_star Says:

I rarely see an internet ad, cause I use ad-blocking (which is disabled for TSA)
Some ad suppliers require site owners to simply choose a category of ads they’d like to display, others like doubleclick use cookies.
And don’t get me started on something like Phorm (google it, but if your ISP introduces it, be worried)
Lesbian love match? better than showing you an ad erectile dysfunction
November 14th, 2008 at 11:24 am
I want to see so much ps3 advertisement It makes my eyes, ears and penis bleed ! (well..)
Seriously though Sony have so much over MS concerning the console Market , it’s time to take the bull by the horns and get ads every which where !
( And none of your artsy fartsy stuff either ! )
November 14th, 2008 at 12:04 pm
Remember the Playstation ads from a few years back with the strangely-voiced kid talking about conquering armies? That was brilliant.
The “Tescos value” Platinum Range ads with their huge yellow banners are shite in comparison.

LBP advertisements are on before films in the cinema, or they were the last two times I went, anyway.
