The Official Forum has an update about the Home invites. It’s not great news - no emails today or over the weekend - but at least it is news and they are hopeful of the problem being resolved on Monday.
This reminds me of the time a friend and I crashed an email server. We each setup a rule to auto-send an email to the other person when receiving an email from that person. The poor server couldn’t cope once I’d sent the initial email. Such fun.

I think whoever gave this news to TheSixthAxis was making it up. I can’t find anyone on the few message boards Ive looked at who’s got a code. The only people I can find are a couple on the official boards, but they are probably lying.
This story has been out now for over half an hour now, so all though a lot of people are still at work / just getting home there should be at least a couple of people who have it and have posted on the boards somewhere

You don’t need to sign up, in Europe it’s based on network activity, the more you’ve bought the more chance you have I think.

The problem is the word ‘loyal’. If I was told that 100,000 invites were going out, 35000 to French speakers, 35000 to Spanish speeakers, 10000 each to German, Italian and English speakers and it is based on the amount of money spent in the PlayStation store in the last six months then I’d be fine with that (but surprised if I wasn’t in it). The idea of not getting an invite because I’m not ‘loyal enough’ I’m not sure I like.
