Home will be taken down for scheduled maintenance at 7am UK time tomorrow - 04/12/2008 - while some changes are made to the server side stuff. Once it’s back up, there will be some new items in the Shopping Centre to aid in the testing of that side of things. TedTheDog said so, and he’s got an awesome name so it must be true.
I will be blogging live from Home once it’s back up to give you all a flavour of what’s going on there.
That was a joke.

I just realized I have only used Home twice since I downloaded it, I guess there’s not much to do on Home when neither of your best friend are without a connection ):

You mean “when neither have a connection” or “both are without a connection”
Yours is a double negative

Yey new items. I want a TV and a HI-FI and maybe a new sofa. The chicks dig new furnishings!

For a short while, eh? Does that mean it’ll be back some time Friday afternoon, or shall we be nice and give them the whole weekend to fix whatever they manage to break.

Please tell me the shopping has been tested prior to this, since April 07. How isn’t there something more important to dish out to testers at this stage? I have little interest in decorating my room since it won’t have the media features. Also, they should be hyping this for the holiday season if its really being released or getting additional significant support.

SONY are testing how much money the beta testers can give them?

Hmmm… I wish they would add some interesting stuff into Home… Gamespaces at least. Home is great for social interaction but, not if your avatar stands in a courtyard while you converse with another avatar. We need something to do while we converse, if we do at all…
I suppose I’ll log in to check what’s up.
Truthfully, I have made 2 friends from the time that I have spent in Home. Friendly people. There are a lot of features which need to be implemented. Hopefully they will be here for the open beta which will hopefully be here this month… It is “imminent” though.

Yeah but what do you expect from a closed beta? At the moment the invites sent out are simply to load test the servers and the like. Yes it is a little dull wandering around these small spaces, but soon it will be opened up and then you can all mona about the lack of features.

Ah, so that was why i couldn’t sign in… BUT when i did, my first thought was to check the shopping centre… but then it crashed when i want to see, so it was off with the PS3.

haha.
Not long now notatoad, if it’s any consolation, Home is pretty empty while it’s still closed so you’re not missing much.
I know that’s not much consolation because it still drove me mad until I got in.
