Looks like July at the earliest.

Well, it appears that it’s not coming out in June at all. “Fat Princess will have a global release date, but I can confirm for you it will not be next week I’m afraid,” said Mike Kebby over at the EU Blog. “The game is coming at some point this summer, but there is no confirmed release date at the moment.” Next week, for the chronologically challenged, would have been the last week in June, so it now appears that the 32 player class-based brawler will be out in July at the earliest.  At least that means the States won’t see it before us, though.

As soon as we get an updated release date we’ll let you know.

  1. Well that sucks :( hopefully it’ll be worth the wait

    • I’m sure it will be. As I said yesterday in another topic, I don’t really mind little delays anyway, as I don’t have much money at the moment ;)

      • same here on the barasic front, birthdays, a new psp for 50 from wh smith the other day. Do DLC for at least another month or so. Tarn it. Can’t complain tho since I have quite a few games going unplayed and they are all review 95%ers scorers!

    • If it means less bugs etc. then I choose delay every time. They’re not going to delay it just for fun, it will be to ensure that things are as good as they can be by a certain deadline.

  2. Damn was looking forward to this. At least my wallet can have a break though!

  3. Ack well, I was thinking it was a bit quiet on the information.

  4. Fair enough, should have plenty to keep us entertained till then. just have to make sure i put a little money aside in anticipation

  5. eep!

nevermind, as long as we get it the same time as everyone else ill be satisfied

  6. I wonder if the closed, closed BETA through anything up? I say closed, closed because i know a select group of 500 BETA testers got asked to continue testing the game after the normal BETA test finished.

They got asked based on the amount of time they had played the BETA etc. Anyone here involved in that further testing?

  7. I heard that the Beta testers had encountered numerous bugs, so I’d rather wait until it’s ready for release rather than rushing it out there.

    • Yeah, we don’t want it turning out like fallout 3.

  8. Still know very little about this but I’m going to look into it later. Nevertheless I’m sure I can wait.

  9. This is a real shame. Would rather it be fixed than full of bugs though

  10. This is sad news to me, been looking forward to this game since it was announced before e3 2008. Hopefully it will be out in July and early in July at that…

  11. I’m not going to cynically suggest that localisation issues in our beloved SCEE region are to blame.

  12. This game will be worth the extra wait.

  13. A traditional delay.

  14. Gutting. What a shame. Was really looking forward to this too!

  15. Want this game, also don’t mind the delay, no job, no money. :(
