Media Molecule Working On New AAA Game

In the latest issue of Edge, Media Molecule are advertising for a Gameplay Programmer.  Media Molecule say that they’re working on a “ground-breaking, AAA, PS3 title for Sony Computer Entertainment” so we can only assume that the above role is for that new game.  “We’re after exceptionally talented programmers who have the ability and passion to really ‘own’, and drive key areas of our game’s code base.”

The job requirements include experience writing and maintaining physics code, experience writing and maintaining gameplay code (e.g. controls, scoring, hud, enemy behaviours etc.) and strong code architecting skills.     Experience of PS3 programming and SPU programming a big plus.  Whether this is LittleBigPlanet 2 (with motion control?) or that rumoured RPG they were meant to be making, we don’t know.
