In an interview with Spanish gaming site Meristation (via GameZine) Polyphony Digital’s Kazunori Yamauchi has said that the pressures of delivering Gran Turismo 5 for Sony are “difficult to bear,” despite the new projected release date of March 2010 for the Japanese market with Europe and the US to follow at some as yet unannounced time after that.

“Not in terms of content,” he said, “but the pressure really, if we can call it that, of the delivery dates are sometimes difficult to bear.  The most important people in my life and close work are of course employees at Polyphony. We are like a family. On the other hand, some people at Sony helped me and help them grow professionally. And those people I work and my devotion I’m happy to help all I can.”
