23AndriaSang, your one-stop-shop for Japanese news, is reporting that day one sales of the PSPgo was 28,275 units, with yesterday’s Sunday release just about squeezing into Enterbrain’s weekly figure tracking. The total up to and including the week previous, for all PSP units combined, was 12,797,180, and so the Japanese launch of the PSPgo is highly encouraging for Sony, albeit one bolstered by a massive launch period influx of PSN Store titles – far outweighing what we got here.
In comparison, bearing in mind the PSPgo launched on a Sunday, the DSi sold 170,000 units in the first two days of its release.
