Call of Duty Classic Coming In One Hour

In addition to the release of Modern Warfare 2, PS3 users (we’re waiting to hear on the 360 front) can look forward to Call of Duty: Classic, a re-release of the original Call of Duty which will be available on the store in about an hour.
The release of Call of Duty: Classic comes with improved graphics and online 8 player multiplayer (Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Retrieval, Headquarters, Search & Destroy and Behind Enemy Lines).
Check the video to see the original game in action.

Wonderful. Those of us who ordered the special editions were told it’d be exclusive to us at 1st. Nice going Activision….

Anyway for Activi$ion to get the money in really. I get the feeling that they only care about their pockets and not keeping their customers happy.

but i assume you would get it free with the code from the special edition.
everybody else will have to pay for it i expect, can’t see activision giving it away.

Well no, we still pay for it because it costs more. Part of the deal was that the original CoD would be exclusive to us for a while before the rest of PSN/XBL got it.

Only exclusive in US (I think). At least, it’s not on there store right now. Activision definitely misled people with the ‘exclusive access’ deal though.

I got the code with the Prestige Edition, I might try it at some point, have they updated the graphics at all?

Part of me thinks I’ll get better value for money off a PSN title than MW2, but if it’s ging to be around £15 I won’t bother!

They should have released a trophy patch for MW1, that would have made me buy it for ps3, just to fresh up the story.
